The Goldingay-Knechtel Family
This session was a real treat for me and a major blast from the past. I’ve known this mamma since third grade, so we go way, way back! I usually encourage my clients to colour coordinate as best as they can and holy moly did this family ever deliver! I loved playing around with these beautiful pastels and took advantage of the breezy, airy feel of the location.
We were so lucky to escape the rain that morning and the drizzling seemed to have stopped just before we started our shoot. Their little one was incredibly calm and wide-eyed for nearly the full hour and I just couldn’t get over those baby blues.
It’s always a little surreal when your childhood friends start having kids but this gal could not be more thrilled to capture these moments. At her age, time is fleeting and growth seems to happen so quickly. I hope they will cherish these memories for years to come.
